Nancy Carman, MA, CMC
Director of Geriatric Care Management
Nancy Carman is a Gerontologist who received her master’s degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida and is a certified Geriatric Care Manager. Nancy brings to SeniorWise Care Management her expertise in managing a South Jersey hospital-based geriatric care management program and 25 years of experience in the field of aging.
Prior to working with SeniorWise Care Management, Nancy was part of the New Life Management and Development, Inc. consulting team working with various continuing care retirement communities throughout the country. Nancy’s wealth of experience also includes senior focus group and support group work, successful grant writing, the development of age-sensitivity training programs and consulting in the senior housing industry. She is a frequent speaker at state, national and international conferences addressing topics related to successful aging.
Nancy is the co-editor and contributing author of the recently published book Re-creating Neighborhoods for Successful Aging. In the past, Nancy wrote a monthly caregiver column, “Aging Well” for the Courier Post newspaper with a circulation throughout Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. Previously Nancy served as a Board Member for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association for more than six years.
Elizabeth Berbette, BA, CMC
Geriatric Care Manager
Elizabeth Berbette, BA, CMC has a long history of working with clients and their families. Prior to starting with SeniorWise Care Management, she spent most of her career in Boulder, CO as a case worker for the Department of Social Services and then 10 years as a Geriatric Care Manager for Dignity Care, a home health agency supplying skilled and non-medical care to the elderly.
As Geriatric Care Manager, Elizabeth provides expert guidance, caring advocacy and timely connections with cost-effective services for older adults and their families, planning for current and future needs. She will keep adult children and other loved ones informed and involved, whether they live nearby or far away. Elizabeth is a certified care manager through the National Association of Certified Care Managers.
Christopher Fritzsche, MSW, LSW
Geriatric Care Manager
Christopher Fritzsche, MSW, LSW is a licensed social worker with a specialization in gerontology. He has a wealth of experience in geriatric case management with the New Jersey Global Options Medicaid Waiver program as well as a history of advocating and coordinating services for a diverse elderly population. Christopher also assisted in developing and coordinating the Veterans Outreach Initiative, a program designed to provide services to disabled veterans. Christopher received his masters in social work at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
